“Bush Baby” is a 1987 Bruce Roberts designed cruising yacht. This Roberts Mauritius 45 Sloop has a steel build and is fitted with dual helm stations. It is equipped with a 15.25 metre aluminium mast with stainless steel wire and deck fittings and includes main, genoa and spinnaker sails.
There is a variety of anchors on the vessel, including three plough, a Danforth and a dreadnought with approximately 40 mitres of 100mm chain and 80 metres of 22mm rope. Additional deck gear includes an electric Muir anchor winch and fold down duck board with a ladder.
The galley is complete with a Maxie stainless steel two burner kerosene stove with oven, fridge, bench top and cupboards. With a total sleeping capacity of six people in six single berths, this is a great boat for longer trips with family and friends.
It comes fitted with a Perkins M50 4 cylinder 50 horsepower diesel engine with a 3 blade stainless steel propeller. The vessel has a fuel capacity of 1000 litres in two treated steel tanks.
